Northern Rail, Network Rail & Carlisle Support Services are working in partnership with Shipley College and JobCentre Plus to offer FREE pre-employment training to support unemployed or low income individuals into customer facing roles within the Rail Industry.
These experienced organisations have regular job opportunities across Bradford and Leeds to include, Customer Service Assistants, Cleaning Operatives, Gateline Assistants and Revenue Protection Officers.
This 3 week course will support applicants with the knowledge of what it is like to work in the Rail Industry. You will gain a Level 2 City & Guilds Customer Service Certificate as well as Level 1 NCFE Employability Award.
During the programme you will also have the opportunity to find out about of roles available, career paths and experience a day in the life of customer service in the Rail Industry. You will apply for live vacancies and have a GUARANTEED INTERVIEW on completion.
Entry Requirements: You will need GCSE Grade D or above in maths and English, however if you do not have this, the College will provide an initial assessment to ensure your suitability.
